With over 18 years of experience in maxillofacial and aesthetic medicine, she is committed to providing advanced, patient-centered care that enhances confidence and well-being. Stacie began her healthcare career as a Registered Nurse, working alongside a team of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, where she gained extensive experience in trauma and surgical procedures. Her time in the operating room, particularly in facial surgery, sparked her passion for aesthetics and facial rejuvenation. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Rio Grande in Ohio, balancing her studies with a full-time job and family life. Encouraged by her colleagues, she pursued her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner, expanding her scope of practice and seamlessly transitioning into the aesthetics industry, where she quickly excelled in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. As a key provider at The Facial Center, Stacie primarily practices at the Teays Valley location and also sees patients at the Kanawha City office. Her expertise and dedication have contributed to The Facial Center’s recognition as one of the Top 10 Allergan Aesthetics locations in West Virginia for 2024 and 2025. Stacie continually expands her knowledge and skills through specialized training, including advanced lip injection techniques, hormone replacement therapy innovations, and other emerging aesthetic treatments. She frequently travels for hands-on education to ensure her patients receive the latest, safest, and most effective treatments available. Beyond her professional achievements, Stacie is a devoted mother to three children. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and skiing, as well as traveling with her family. With over five years of experience in aesthetic medicine, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve their personal wellness and beauty goals while enhancing their confidence through personalized, results-driven treatments. Her journey in healthcare began at UNC Chapel Hill, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing in 2007. Passionate about patient care, she initially worked in pediatric nursing at the Cleveland Clinic, where she spent eight years refining her medical expertise. During this time, she pursued further education at Kent State University, earning her Nurse Practitioner degree. After several years in urgent care, she realized she wanted to take her medical expertise in a new direction—one that allowed her to combine her love for patient care with her passion for aesthetics. Determined to make a difference, she completed specialized training in medical aesthetics through the Esthetic Skin Institute in Fort Lauderdale and has since continued her education with advanced courses in injectables, laser therapy, and emerging aesthetic treatments. In 2020, she joined The Facial Center, a leading aesthetic practice, where she provides cutting-edge, non-surgical cosmetic solutions to help patients feel and look their best. She takes a patient-centered approach, listening to each individual’s concerns and tailoring treatments to deliver natural, beautiful results. Beyond her professional life, Cari is a devoted wife and mother of two daughters. She enjoys traveling, skiing, and hiking, and she and her family are always seeking new adventures. Their favorite travel destinations include Turks and Caicos, and they are currently preparing for a trip to Costa Rica by learning Spanish together. She is also an active member of her children’s school PTA and values community involvement. Meet the Team![]() Stephanie CottrellSite Supervisor & Medical AssistantStephanie Cottrell, MA, is a highly experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant at The Facial Center, where she has been a dedicated member of the team since 2020. Originally from the small town of Powellton, West Virginia, Stephanie brings over two decades of hands-on experience in the medical field, having earned her associate degree in Medical Assisting from West Virginia Junior College in 2002. Throughout her career, Stephanie has worked across a wide range of healthcare environments—including metabolic pediatrics and mobile units serving underprivileged communities—gaining a deep understanding of patient care in both clinical and community settings. Today, she plays a key role in the day-to-day operations at The Facial Center, supporting providers, preparing treatment rooms, assisting with hormone therapy and weight loss patients, and administering services such as semaglutide, lipo mino and laser procedures. Stephanie is certified in laser hair removal and is a trained ZO® Skin Health specialist, accomplishments she takes great pride in. She stays up to date in the industry through regular professional development, including hands-on training and virtual webinars, with support from P3 Partners. Driven by a passion for helping others feel confident and cared for, Stephanie finds motivation in her family and the satisfaction of seeing patients leave with a renewed sense of self. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, especially with her dad, and spending quality time with her children and newly born granddaughter. ![]() Chloe BlizzardMarketing Operations ManagerChloe Blizzard is the Aesthetics Marketing Coordinator at The Facial Center, where she leads creative strategy and execution across a variety of digital and traditional marketing channels. Originally from New Hampshire, Chloe moved to West Virginia to attend Marshall University, where she earned a degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Communication Studies. Following graduation in 2023, she joined The Facial Center in December 2024 and quickly established herself as a valuable and enthusiastic team member—earning Employee of the Month recognition within her first few months. In her role, Chloe manages content creation for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, while also overseeing text and email campaigns, radio and billboard advertisements, and occasional event planning. She works closely with the Aesthetics team to develop creative campaigns, ensuring content is engaging and reflective of both current offerings and emerging services in the medspa space. She is passionate about making marketing feel collaborative and exciting for her colleagues, always seeking input and ideas to spark meaningful engagement. What Chloe finds most rewarding in her work is seeing the team energized about sharing their expertise and building awareness around services that make people feel more confident. Her natural creativity, team-first mindset, and commitment to impactful storytelling make her a strong asset to the marketing team. She lives in West Virginia with husband, dog, and two cats. ![]() Isabella AkersAestheticianIsabella Akers is a licensed esthetician at The Facial Center, where she has been providing expert skincare services since May 2023. A native of Winfield, West Virginia, Bella discovered her passion for the beauty industry early on, inspired by three generations of cosmetologists in her family. While her roots are in hair and cosmetology, Bella felt drawn to skincare and chose to pursue a career in aesthetics, graduating from The Palm Beauty Academy in early 2023. At The Facial Center, Bella specializes in a wide range of spa services, including Hydrafacials, microneedling, laser hair removal, lash lifts and tints, and customized facial treatments. She is also highly knowledgeable in the ZO Skin Health product line. Always eager to stay current with new techniques and treatments, Bella has pursued additional training in Hydrafacial, laser hair removal, and microneedling since joining the team. Known for creating a safe, calming environment for her clients, Bella is deeply committed to making others feel confident in their skin. She finds the most fulfillment in helping her patients relax, recharge, and care for themselves—whether it’s through everyday skincare routines or transformative in-office treatments. Over the past two years, she has built a loyal and growing clientele, a testament to her professionalism and warmth. Outside of work, Bella enjoys spending time with her family, paddleboarding, gardening, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She will be getting married in September and is excited for what lies ahead—both personally and professionally—as she continues to grow in her aesthetics career. |
